In the course of OEM or ODM engagements, you may provide us with technical and commercial information, including product specifications, schematics, engineering drawings, firmware documentation, bill of materials (BOM), prototype requirements, compliance documentation, and forecast data. Such information may contain proprietary or confidential elements. While this technical information may not always constitute Personal Data, we treat it with strict confidentiality in accordance with contractual and internal compliance standards.

If you choose not to provide certain Personal Data that is necessary for us to fulfill a requested service or business engagement, we may be unable to provide such services in whole or in part.

We also collect Non-Personal Data, including information about your device, browser type, operating system, website usage statistics, clickstream data, time zone setting, and other technical information. We may aggregate and analyze such information to improve our Services, enhance security, and optimize user experience. Where legally permitted, we may communicate with you regarding our services, subject to applicable consent requirements.

We do not sell, rent, or trade Personal Data.

Sharing of Personal Data

We may share Personal Data with authorized employees, affiliated entities, manufacturing partners operating under confidentiality obligations, service providers assisting in IT support, data storage, analytics, legal, compliance, or operational functions, and governmental or regulatory authorities where required by law.

Except as described in this Policy, Startron will not disclose Personal Data to third parties for promotional purposes without your consent. We may disclose Personal Data where required to comply with applicable law, legal process, governmental requests, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our employees, customers, or partners.

In the event of a merger, restructuring, acquisition, or sale of assets, Personal Data may be transferred as part of such transaction in accordance with applicable law.

Your Personal Data may be stored, processed, or transferred within India or to other jurisdictions where Startron or its authorized service providers operate. When we transfer Personal Data outside India, we do so in compliance with applicable legal requirements, including those under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Personal Data may be processed by employees or authorized service providers engaged in providing support services. By submitting your Personal Data, you acknowledge and consent to such storage, processing, and transfer as described in this Policy.

We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
